How To Replace A Light Switch
1. Start by shutting off the power to the circuit that you'll be working on at your breaker box.
2. Use a screwdriver to remove the faceplate and screws, then gently pull the switch out of the electrical box.
3. Note which wires are connected to which terminals on the old switch so you can attach them to the new switch in the same place.
4. Loosen each wire's terminal screw and disconnect the wires, then remove the old switch.
5. Connect the new switch in the same manner, reattach the faceplate, and turn on power to test it out!
